Personal training should be personal.
Your goals. Your abilities. Your life.
The plan follows the person—not the other way around.
That sounds obvious.
But too often, personal training means following the trainer's preferred exercises, programme or way of doing things.
I approach it differently.
We start with what you're trying to achieve, what you're currently capable of, what you enjoy and what your life realistically allows.
From there, we build your training around you.
That could mean getting stronger, improving your fitness, moving more comfortably, changing your body composition, returning to exercise after time away or simply feeling more confident in the gym.
The goal determines the direction.
You determine how we get there.
Your starting point
We'll talk about your goals, training experience, lifestyle and anything that might influence how we approach your training.
Because progression only becomes meaningful when we understand where we're progressing from.
Your training
Your programme is designed around your goals, abilities and preferences, then adapted according to how you respond.
The aim isn't simply to work hard. It's to make the work we do count.
Beyond the training
Depending on your goals, we may also look at nutrition, activity, recovery and the habits that support what you're trying to achieve.
We'll identify what matters most and introduce more only when it adds genuine value.
Who is it for?
You might be starting for the first time, returning after time away, improving health or body composition, or taking strength and performance further.
The question is whether we can build an approach that works for you.
The service adapts as you do.
Your coaching is built around what you need rather than a fixed list of interventions. Some people need more support in one area than another, and that balance can change over time.
In-person coaching.
Face-to-face personal training combines one-to-one sessions with the wider support needed to keep your progress moving between appointments.
Availability is limited and your recommended frequency will depend on your goals, experience and the support you need.
Real progress. Lasting change.
